Cliff jumping heroes vs base defences

Is there a point where cliff jumpers such as the reaper hero can jump up to where they are in between the max ranges of the bunkers/photoncannon/spine crawlers? Forgive my terrible attempt at an ASCII diagram, which is not to scale btw, but if the defenses are the *s and the cliff is the _ and | lines, is there an area around where the ? is where your in between the max ranges of the defenses and thus won't get hit by them?

It's varies per map but maps like river that have only two ramps should have some dead space on the longest cliff. Base defense increases tower range though.
