Laneing help [replay, but its very short]

Postby somen00b » Tue Feb 02, 2016 1:24 am

One would think that a ghost hero and a hero with lots of splash damage would do better then a single hydralisk at controlling a double lane right?

If so, what were me and my teammate doing wrong?

I left the game early since I knew I was just feeding the hydralisk after a while

edit: i forgot to mention the hydralisk had 3 v 4 leaver (whatever % that is)

Having two splash heroes in one lane is very suboptimal since you'll be splitting minerals between the two heroes. A lane such as medic+splash is much stronger since the splash hero can farm while medic can harrass and zone the enemy with irradiate+sedate.

2v1 lanes almost always favor the solo hero since it is getting twice as much exp as each enemy hero as well as twice as much minerals in this case. Hydralisk is more than capable of farming and maintaining lane equilibrium with multi-spines.

In a situation like this it's usually better to just critter or at least drag critters to towers.
